Riverside in Carlisle - About Us

Carlisle Housing Association properties

Riverside is a forward thinking, community focused organisation providing affordable social homes and services to people living in Carlisle and surrounding rural areas. Riverside is one of the largest registered social landlords in the country.

We are more than just a landlord for our 6,200 Carlisle homes. Riverside work tirelessly with many organisations to realise its vision,

'transforming lives, revitalising neighbourhoods'

Due to a high demand for housing of all types coupled with an insufficient supply of housing available, Riverside's main priority is to provide affordable social housing in the area.

Riverside's relationship with residents is essential and is proactively expanding its Resident Involvement focus as this underpins everything Riverside do and residents have an dynamic role to play in creating a better environment for everyone.

Riverside place high importance on the wellbeing of tenants and has provided Advice About Asbestos to answer any queries you may have. If you would like further advice please contact us.

Homes Available

Our homes are allocated through a Choice Based Lettings (CBL) system. Prospective tenants who register with us can then actively bid on properties which are advertised weekly. Giving people more choice in where they live to meet their individual needs.
