Riverside - Social housing staff show sporting spirit
Over 100 staff from Riverside are competing in the Corporate Games held in Liverpool next month (13 – 16 May).
Staff from Carlisle to Dartford are taking part in various sports including dragon boat racing, ten pin bowling, go-karting and golf.
Riverside’s Training and Development Advisor Suey George said: “The Corporate Games is a chance to bring staff from across the organisation together outside the work environment as well as meeting new people from different sectors.
“Riverside will be represented by a whole range of people from joiners and bricklayers to support workers and community engagement officers to policy managers and regeneration managers.
“It is a great opportunity to build employee confidence, loyalty and team spirit.” As the host of the 17th UK Corporate Games, Liverpool will welcome 3,000 participants who will compete in 23 sports at various venues including ECHO arena, Wavertree Sports Park, Greenbank Sports Academy in Mossley Hill, Hollywood Bowl in Old Swan and Liverpool Watersports Centre, Queens Dock.
