Riverside in Midlands - Community Investment

Riverside's Midlands Division operates the Divisional Community Chest Fund which allows Riverside residents to apply for grants up to £5000. The application procedure is a fast track process. Applicants who want to apply for a grant will need to meet the following Community Investment objectives:

  • Reviving local community
  • Creating employment opportunities
  • To improve education and health
  • Reduce crime and fear of crime within there area
  • Capacity building
  • Improve the community environments
  • Reduce Anti-Social Behaviour

    Since the Community Chest Fund was set up in 2000 we’ve provided grants for a number of different projects these include:

  • Bangladesh Youth & Cultural Shomiti – Complimentary Education Project.
  • Moss Green Residents Forum – Healthy Gardens & Youth Club Project
  • St Peters Community centre – For Help to get Planning permission.
  • Warriors Basketball Club – Outdoor Basketball Intiatives.
  • Children and Parents Alliance – Play Activities project.
  • Hope Hamilton Church – The Unit Project.

    Riverside Impact Fund

    Residents can also apply for grants over £5000 by applying for the Riverside Impact Fund. Applications made to this fund are for normally much larger projects. For more information, please contact Rupa Chandarana on 0845 111 0000.
