Riverside encourages involvement from tenants at every decision making level. Many procedures and practices were developed in close consultation with tenant and community representatives on the Riverside Board and Steering Group.
By law, before any changes are made about how your home is managed or maintained your views must be considered.
Riverside will do this through letters, local or general newsletters, public meetings or any other appropriate method. These changes may concern the services provided directly for you, or the affect of our activities in the area where you live.
However, you don’t need to wait until Riverside approach you. Please talk individually or as a group about any activities which affect you, or which you would like to change or influence in some way.
If you want to set up a local residents group or Tenants Association, then you can get advice from an independent organisation. You can find the addresses in your local housing office. You can also get help from our Community Investment Officer, and you can apply for start-up funding from the Central Tenants Association of The Riverside Group.
