Riverside - Riverside Partnership among the best

The Riverside Partnership can count itself among the best affordable homes providers according to the latest figures from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

HCA measures the performance of Registered Social Landlord delivery partners against five key indicators: rented homes completions; low cost home ownership completions; starts on site of new rented homes, low cost home ownership starts on site and; expenditure.

The Riverside Partnership scored in the top 25% of four of the five indicators. It only fell short on low cost ownership starts on site, which is a reflection our cautious approach to the difficult housing market.

Mark Patchitt, Director of Regeneration Riverside, said: “The last year has been a particularly challenging one for all partnerships in England as the credit crunch has devastated the sales market. However, we not only met our target for low cost home ownership completions but also exceeded our targets for rent completions and rent starts on site as well as for expenditure.”

The Riverside Partnership comprises Riverside, Vicinity, Guinness Northern Counties and Regenda as partners and Venture Housing, Twin Valley Homes, New Progress, Wirral Partnership Homes and Cobalt as members. It streamlines bidding for grant funding and maximises efficiencies through a framework comprising design consultants, cost consultants, building surveyors, structural engineers, CMD planning coordinators and site safety auditors.
